1. Presentation

As part of the Cooperation and Cultural affairs department of the French Embassy in Thailand, the Higher education and Scientific Cooperation Office is in charge to promote French scientific expertise, and to encourage cooperation between French and Thai research stakeholders.

 

Its mandate includes promotion of graduate studies in France to Thai student, operating the French MOFA programmes to support research mobility (scholarship, fellowship, joint-schemes, staff exchanges ...), managing network of partners and stakeholders, organising bilateral workshops, ensuring a constant dialogue between the French ministry of research and its counterpart in Thailand, helping Thai stakeholders to identify prospective partners...

 

The Higher education and Scientific Cooperation Office is the focal point at the embassy for any researcher, research institute, laboratory, university... which intends to collaborate with French counterpart.

 

It operates under the authority of the Attache for Higher education and Scientific Cooperation, with the supervision of the Counsellor for Cooperation and Cultural Affairs.
